jneumannsmr.jpg (3986 bytes)Pastor 1851-1852:

Saint John Neumann, C.Ss.R.

This American saint served as pastor, and was consecrated a bishop at St Alphonsus Church.

                                     Pastor 1854-1857:

                             Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, C.Ss.R.

This "cheerful ascetic" served as pastor at St Alphonsus; and now declared a BLESSED!

                                 Please pray for his canonization

"How I love, O Lord, the beauty of Thy House!" (Ps 26:8)

St Alphonsus is the home of Baltimore's only "Tridentine Mass" -- Mass each Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and a Sung Mass every first and third Sunday of the month. On Holydays of Obligation, Mass at 7:00 p.m.

Come and experience this Mass called by some, "the most beautiful thing this side of heaven."

This page is dedicated to the many wonderful priests, religious, laity -- past and present -- who have made St Alphonsus the powerhouse of prayer it was, is, and -- God willing -- always will be.

Saint Alphonsus Liguori, Saint John Neumann,
Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, pray for us!

We would deeply appreciate letting us know you visited and any comments you might send our way!
